About Us
Removing the Waste from Rubbish Clearance
Our Story
AnyJunk was founded in 2004 by Jason Mohr, a former Rothschild banker who quit the City to do something a bit different. Starting from a single truck, the company grew to become the nation's largest man & van rubbish clearance company.
In 2014 AnyJunk transformed its operating model from self-delivery into technology-platform, partnering with waste businesses all over the UK. Today its network comprises over 500 vehicles and undertakes many thousands of collections every week.
How We Work
AnyJunk uses Uber style technology to partner with local waste businesses. We match jobs to the nearest operator with spare capacity. They connect to us through an app, so we can track progress and keep customers updated in real time.
This model reduces distances driven (and therefore labour and carbon footprint) per collection, strengthens service resilience, and utilises existing fleet more efficiently, rather than adding unnecessary trucks to the road.
